January 12, 2009  The Annual All Club Ride-In has been rescheduled from February 7, 2010 to February 14, 2010:
The original February 7 date was set back last August. Guess it was too much of a conflict with the Super Bowl on Sunday evening.
Now it runs against NASCAR‘s Daytona 500, Valentines Day, and the Ice Castle in Mayville‘s Lakeside Park.

December 21, 2009  Snowmobile Economic Impact Survey:
We are requesting that everybody fill-out a paper version or go to the on-line version to fill-in your information.
There are several prizes which will be awarded to lucky participants.
Thirty (30) of the blue boxes have been distributed around Chautauqua County for your convenience.

December 8, 2009  Why Ride Chautauqua County essay contest:
The Snowmobile Clubs of Chautauqua County announced this essay contest.

December 4, 2009  New 2009-2010 Chautauqua County Snowmobile Trail maps:
The new 2009-2010 maps arrived Friday, December 4, 2009.
They should all be mailed and into your hands.

November 14, 2009  Area Leaders Meet with Snowmobile Clubs:
Cooperation and communication are needed to keep Chautauqua County snowmobiling safe and enjoyable according to Chautauqua County Legislator Fred Croscut. Croscut organized a meeting of local officials, state elected representatives, law enforcement, and members of the areas snowmobile clubs on Saturday, November 14th at Webb‘s in Mayville. The meeting provided a forum for discussion and information sharing for such issues as snowmobile registration procedures, economic impact of snowmobiling, the role of snowmobile clubs, and priorities regarding law enforcement.

Youth & Adult Snowmobile Safety Courses: (scheduled so far)
Must be at least 10 years of age on or before the class in order to attend.
This is an official, approved New York State Safety Course.
Those students who pass the written test will receive their Snowmobile Safety Card from New York State.

October, 1 2009  The Snowmobile Clubs of Chautauqua County begin development of a new website.
The majority of first phase development should be completed around the end of November.
What you see is progress to date. The interactive map will take a lot of time (waiting for a digital copy of the new map).
Some areas will continue under development with an early 2010 date while other areas have a late 2010 target date.
Just want you to know what snowmobiling is like here in Chautauqua County.
Come to Chautauqua County and pay us a visit this winter.
We do have three other seasons too.
Some people think summer is nice around here too!
Beautiful blue lakes: Chautauqua Lake, Findley Lake, Bear Lake, Cassadaga Lake.
A lot of people have found us to be in an attractive area.
Many have setup cabins and lodges to make weekends an enjoyable getaway during all four seasons.
