I want to advertise on your Trail Map or your website. How can I do that and how much would it cost? |

|
The standard ad on our Chautauqua County Snowmobile Trail Map is $150. Double size ads are $300.
The entire back of the folded map is available at higher cost. We produce and distribute 6,000 maps per season.
Approximately 3,500 maps go directly to Family Memberships in our five clubs. Advertisers on our Trail Map
are automatically included on our Interactive Map on this website plus the POIs (Points Of Interest). POIs are

Who has the largest club in New York State? |

|
By highest number of trail miles: I believe that one of our clubs has the highest number of trail miles in New York State.
Another one of our clubs is way up there for highest mileage too.
We groom and maintain over 450+ miles of trails.
By number of Family Memberships, one club is way up there. But there are clubs with more memberships in the state.
Between the five clubs, we have approximately 3,380+ Family Memberships.

 |
How much taxpayer money do you get from New York State? |

|
None, 0, nada, zip, zero. We do get some of the snowmobile registration money back from the state. It is divided up based upon miles of trails.
The increase of the cost of registration several years ago and the relatively recent two-tier registration had helped us
tremendously. Finally we are able to purchase better grooming equipment, make the payments, and pay for the diesel fuel to run everything.

They want me to sign the Gas Tax Refund thing when I put gas in my snowmobile. What is it? |

|
New York State has an 8-cent road use tax on every gallon of gasoline. Go inside when you put gas into your
snowmobile, bring in your receipt or they can print another one for you, sign the Gas Tax Refund page, you or the business
will fill-in the number of gallons, price per gallon, and total purchase price. The receipts go into the envelope provided.
Make absolutely sure the receipt or a copy of the receipt goes into the envelope! No receipt = no refund.
The snowmobile clubs can later do the paperwork and supply the proper documentation to eventually receive a
refund from the state. Or would you prefer to be hit-up for more raffles?

 |
Why don't I do the Gas Tax Refund thing myself for what gasoline I purchase for my sled? |

|
It is a hassle to do the proper documentation. Match each and every receipt to the signature sheet. Staple the receipts
to each signature sheet. Send a box of receipts and signature sheets to Albany. Wait for at least two and probably
three months before receiving a refund check back from Albany. Definately not worth your time and effort.
